He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Jr. (Rose) and Joe Sr. (Marsha); his wife Marsha Fairhurst; his son Michael; and his siblings, John, Leo, Dorothy, Lorretta and Gloria.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jr. (Rosemary), Timothy and Tracey (Fannie); his grandsons, Matthew and Kevin; his daughter-in-law Mary Phalon (late Michael Phalon); his close friend Karen Scienski; and his uncle Joe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
