He was predeceased by: his wife Solamina Acosta; his parents, Tomasa Olivera Martinez and José Padró Acosta; and his siblings, Santo Acosta, Roberto Acosta, José Acosta, Gloria Maria Acosta, Rosalinda Acosta and Amparo Acosta.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Acosta Quintanilla, Daniel Acosta and Luis Antonio Acosta; his grandchildren, Cristian Gabriel, Carlos Javier, Daniel José, Gabriela, Luis Alexander and Ariana; his brother Wilfredo Acosta; and his godson Angel Salva.
