We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2025, Ereminda Arias of Perth Amboy, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ereminda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ereminda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Juan Antonio Perez; and her parents, Maria Petronyla Taveras and Jose Dolores Arias. She is also survived by her 14 children, 53 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren, 18 brothers and sisters.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home (419 Barclay St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima RC Church (380 Smith St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Alpine Cemetery (703 Amboy Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861).
