She was predeceased by: her parents, Corina Abreu and Casimiro of Jesus Maya; and her husband Juan R. Olivares Sosa. She is survived by: her children, Delsi Olivares (Nelson Villar), Gladys Acevedo (Franklyn Acevedo), Julian Olivares (Carlixta Olivares), Gilberto Olivares (Eloina Pagan), Franklin Olivares (Ruth Diaz) and Juan Antonio Olivares (Yaisa Morillo). She is also survived by her 14 sisters and 3 brothers, 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home (419 Barclay St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima R. C Church. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Cemetery.
