He is survived by: his daughter Aldina Branco (Jorge Rodrigues); his grandchildren, Miranda, Matthew and Michael Rodrigues; and his siblings, Maria Almeida, Leonete Barreiro, Carlos Santos (Mariana), Anunciacao Ferreira (João), Valdemar Santos (Adelia), Helena Moteiro (Artur) and Graca Santos.
