He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Freeman, and John V. Freeman, Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ann Freeman of Perth Amboy, John V. Freeman, Jr. (Catherine Pachucki Freeman) of Woodbridge and Joseph V. Freeman (Grace Sardina Freeman) of Perth Amboy; and his nephews, John V. Freeman III and Jared V. Freeman.
