He is survived by: his children, Angel Rivera (Koneta), Manuel Rivera (Rebecca), Carlos Rivera Sr. (Helen), Madelina Rivera, José Luiz Rivera (Belkis Rivera), Ignacio Rivera (Irene Rivera), Maria Apolonia Rivera and Mariana Rivera; his grandchildren, Katherine Rose, Matthew Carlos, Kelly, Anthony, Jesse, Brandon, Brianna Hope, Carlos Jr. (Natalie), Elizabeth, Alexander Joshua, Riley Julian, Mateo Ignacio, Aaliyah Sanaa, Ariella Marie, Amina Nehal and Annalise Zendaya; and his siblings, Marina Rivera Rivera, Sonia Rivera Rivera, Diaz, Margarita Rivera Rivera, Héctor Rivera Rivera (Maria Rivera), Carlos Rivera Rivera (Lucero Rivera), Lillian Inés Rivera Rivera, Yvette Rivera Rivera and Figueroa (Jorge Figueroa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
