Though Manuel may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Manuel leaves behind.

He is survived by: his mother Sixta Gonzalez; his stepfather Carlos Gonzalez; his father Manuel Tavera Sr.; his stepmother Iris Alicea; and his grandparents, Ana Tavera, Gertrudis and Dimas Gonzalez. He is also survived by his step-siblings; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
