She was predeceased by: her parents, Justin Torres and Emelia Gonzalez; and her son Harry Arvelo. She is survived by: her children, Hector E. Arvelo, Tony Arvelo and Evelyn Arvelo; and her sisters, Blanca Matias and Ludy Soto. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
