It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariano A. Plasencia of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Nemecio Plasencia; and his brother Jerardo Andres Plasencia. He is survived by: his wife Cristina Plasencia (Vargas); his children, Dianiris Plasencia, Anthony Plasencia, Damaris Taylor and Carlos Plasencia; and his siblings, Ana Luisa, Saturnino, Leonidas Mercedes, Francisco Javier and Juan Antonio Plasencia. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
