It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marta Olavarria of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Antonio Olavarria Sr.; and her parents, Maria Muniz (Rivera) and Hinginio Muniz. She is survived by: her children, Angelita Olavarria Sanchez, Delia Gonzalez, Irma Marino, Jacqueline Vera, Marta Ore and Jose Antonio Olavarria Jr.; and her siblings, Carmen Rita Muniz, Angel Muniz, Lucila Castillo and Jesus Muniz. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
