She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Stephen Pavlakos; and her siblings, Peter Karounos, Connie Kishyk, Anastasios Karounos and Toula Beratis.

She is survived by: her sister Zafiro Filindras; her son Stephen Pavlakos (Patricia); her grandchildren, Samantha Westberg (Ken), Marissa Asfour (Bishara), Paul Pavlakos (Demi) and Barbara Pavlakos; and her great grandchildren, Paul Joseph, Lillian, Sophia, Chrisanna, Konstantinos, Melina and Theodore.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 41 Wisteria St., Perth Amboy, NJ, 08861.
