She was predeceased by: her husband Victor M. Gonzales; her parents, Paula Arroyo-Rodriguez and Vicente Aponte-Escobales; and her brother Rafael Aponte. She is survived by: her children, Joel Gonzales-Aponte and Karina Gonzales-Aponte; her grandchildren, Elijah Gonzales, Brianna Gonzales, Nehemiah Camilio McCoy and Saraia Love Cuevas; and her siblings, Vicente Aponte, William Aponte, Pedro Aponte, Janet Aponte, Nydia Aponte and Gerardo Aponte.
