In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Octavin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Octavin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Acevedo and Eugenio Jimenez; his son Octavio "Jimmy" Jimenez; and his brother Nery Jimenez. He is survived by: his wife Elsa Jimenez; his daughter Edna Paladino (Robert Matthew Paladino); his grandsons, Robert Vincent Paladino and Joseph Dominick Paladino; and his siblings, Angel Jimenez, Juan Bautista Jimenez and Olga Jimenez-Oliveras.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home (419 Barclay St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jesus Parish (777 Cortlandt St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A burial was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Alpine Cemetery (703 Amboy Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861).
