He was predeceased by : his parents, Candelaria Montero and Cristino Paula; and his brother Nicolas Montero. He is survived by : his wife Ramona Montero (Santiago Ortega); his children, Richard Montero (Julissa), Glenys Montero Wynn (Jeffrey), Milagros Montero (Bento Santana), Maira Alcantara (Jose), Florinda Montero, Maria Elena Montero, Constancia Montero and Confesor Montero; and his sister Ana Delma Martinez Guante. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
