It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Maviglia of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Teresa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Teresa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Francesco Maviglia; and her brothers, Vincenzo and Giuseppi Cotroneo. She is survived by: her children, Santo Maviglia of Perth Amboy and Anna Maviglia of Perth Amboy; her brother Martino Cotroneo (Maria) of Brick Twp; her nieces, Teresa Rambahjan (Joe), Ida Viegas and Caterina Cotroneo; and her nephew Antonio Cotroneo.
