She was predeceased by: her husband Genaro Rivera; her parents, Francisca Torres and Juan Vega; and her daughter Carmen Lopez. She is survived by: her children, Ramonita Lopez (Hector Lopez), Margarita Cardoso, Luis Rivera, Enrique Rivera (Catherine Rivera) and Nellie Pagan; her granddaughters, Raquel Lopez, Jennifer Lopez and Amanda Lopez; and her great grandchild Brian Buiza Jr.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home (419 Barclay St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima RC Church (380 Smith St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Alpine Cemetery (703 Amboy Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861).
