He was predeceased by: his father Antonio Comito; and his spouse Shirley C. Comito. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Comito (Cynthia), Toni Lynn Melhem (Maynard) and Terri Comito (Theresa); his grandchildren, Ryan, Gregory Comito II, Sabrina and Nicholas Melhem; his sibling's children, Dominic Comito, Christine Dorner, Nancy Hefele, Anthony, Steven, Douglas Gregory, Daniel, Robert, Stanley Goit, Roxanne and Tracy Gregory; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jelissa Weston, Sadie Byles, Steven, Hanna Doerner and Peter Hefele II; and his brother Dominic A. Comito (Virginia "Ginny" C.).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Philip & St. James Catholic Church (426 S Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
