He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Smith-Macario and Pasquale "Pat" Macario; his brothers, Arnold Macario and Ronald Macario; and his grandson Nicolaos Chaikalis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melonie Merlo, Charlene Macario and Andrea Macario; his son-in-law Nicolaos Chaikalis; his grandchildren, Christopher Hendershot (Dana), Tara King (Marty), Rose Macario, Joseph Merlo (Merlo (Ryan)), Anthony Julius Macario-Chaikalis and Andreas Chaikalis; his great grandchildren, Giovani, Arienna, Paige, Payton, James, Thomas, Colin and Conor; and his sister-in-law Maryanne Macario.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (900 Washington St, Easton, PA 18042).
