She was predeceased by: her husband Howard E. Ireland; her daughter Debra Mongi; her sister H. Dolores Thompson; her daughters, Phyllis Imhof (Paul), Joyce Anderson (Tom Woolston), Jennifer Ireland and Cathryn Barrell (Will); her grandchildren, Renee, John, Jim, Rich, Zach, Luke and Victoria; and her parents, Daniel P. Spaeth and Hilda D. Hulme.
She is survived by: her sisters, Phyllis Steinhauer and Joyce Kowalski; and her stepfather Robert V. Hensley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Finegan Funeral Home (302 Heckman St, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Barbara's name to the Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh Street, Suite 100, Allentown, PA 18103, to support the care of those in need.
