He was predeceased by : his father Merle Robert Thorpe; and his son Edgar Brian Stone. He is survived by : his mother Emma Lillian Thorpe (Glanz) of Phillipsburg; his daughter Jessica Thorpe of Phillipsburg; his close friend Mary Stone of Phillipsburg; his siblings, Merle Glanz and Rosemary Thorpe of Phillipsburg; his granddaughter Emma Bartholomew; and his close friend Joshua Shedd of Columbia, SC..
