Elizabeth Jane Bevins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Jane Bevins (Phillipsburg, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Nugent and Harriet Nugent (Kirkland); her husband Aloysius; and her grandson Frederick Taggart. She is survived by: her children, Beth (Steve Taggart) and Robert (Jen); her grandchildren, Colin Taggart, Shelby Sigley (Devon), Bailey Bevins, Padraic Taggart and James Bevins; her great grandchild Winston Sigley; and her siblings, Kathy Ciallella (Jim) and Fred Nugent (Yasuyo). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home (302 Heckman St, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church (430 S Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865).
