He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bell and Katherine Bell; his wife Sharon; his brother Robert Bell; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Bates and Edward Czeczuga.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Bell (Natalie Bell) of Matawan, NJ and Amy Katherine Bolton; his grandson Hudson Bolton of Johnson City, TN; and his sister-in-law Patricia Czeczuga. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made in Howard's name to Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church or to The First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, NJ.
