With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan A. Schaefer of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on August 14, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Bowers and Olive Houck Bowers; her husband Stephen Schaefer; and her brother John Bowers. She is survived by: her sister Helen Wesse; and her nieces, Sharon Policelli and Linda Amato (Michael). She is also survived by 2 great nephews and 4 great-great nieces.
