She is survived by : her children, Kathleen O. Farrelly (Dennis) of Stroudsburg, PA, Mary Mahoney of Stroudsburg, PA and Michael O'Rourke of Alpha, NJ; her grandchildren, Brian Candler (Lauren) of Stroudsburg, PA, Ryan Tettemer of Milford, NJ, Colleen Mahoney of Atkinson, NH, Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Eric Johnson) of Mt. Tabor, NJ, Kaycee Robbins (Brandon) of Atlanta, GA, Michael Mahoney (Jules Proasi) of North Andover, MA and Kyle O'Rourke (Alyssa) of Rosetto, PA; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Ethan, Amelia and Jacob Candler of Stroudsburg, PA..

Prior to Covid, Joan volunteered to help feed the homeless and help troubled youths.
