With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maretta Weisel of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Maier and Carolyn Rymon Maier; and her husband Paul D Weisel, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Paul D. Weisel, Jr. (Maria); her grandchildren, Nicholas (Alicia), Christopher (Matthew) and Melissa; her great grandchildren, Ciera and Gabe; her great great grandchildren, Mia and Markus; and her siblings, Joyce Stibitz, Carolyn Gatlin and Thomas Maier (Veronica). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flower, memorials may be made in Maretta's name to Wesley United Methodist Church; 35 Miller Street; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 or the charity of one's choice.
