He was predeceased by : his parents, George Merritt and Shirley Merritt (Woodruff); and his brother Vernon. He is survived by : his wife Heidi Fultz; his siblings-in-law, Robert Fultz (Kim), Brian Fultz, Patrick Fultz (Leslie) and Darlene Bashford; and his nephew Michael.
