With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas J Carlson Sr. of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 60. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas J Carlson Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John, Sr. Carlson and Anna Carlson (Sansone); his son Christopher Tunis; and his brother Michael Carlson. He is survived by : his wife Mae Carlson (Tunis); his children, Thomas (Brittany), Nicholas Carlson, Derek Cumminsky (Sam), Jordan Cumminsky (Alyssa), Jacob Carlson and Olivia Carlson; his brothers, John Carlson (Suzanne) and Steven Carlson (Janet); and his grandsons, Trevor and Lucas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the family in care of Mae Carlson, for Olivia's college fund.
