With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas James Smith of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Thomas James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Thomas James. Though Thomas James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer, Stephanie and Shannon; his wife Jackie; his brother Jeff; his sister-in-law Pat; and his grandchildren, Luke, Callie, Dylan, Gray, Liam, Jonathan and Harper. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Phillip and St. James Catholic Church (430 S Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865).
