In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Fleming and Frances R. Fleming; his brother Michael Fleming (Geraldine); and his brother-in-law Thomas Meunier. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Fleming; his daughters, Rosemarie Fleming-Averyt (Daniel) and Francine Fleming-Wendowski (Kevin); and his sisters, Maryann Meunier and Maureen Monaco (Carlos).
Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish (369 Georgetown Rd, Penns Grove, NJ 08069).
