She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Adelaide Wiegand (Taboreck) and Charles Wiegand; her husband Peter; her son Jonathan; her daughter-in-law Jonya; her grandchildren, Jake and Grace; her nephew Kevin (Daniela); her siblings, Valerie Schiavone and Charles Wiegand (Skip); and her friends, Susan Ellis and Tommy Vernazza. She was also cherished by nieces, great-nieces, and great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made in Sherry's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
