She is survived by : her husband Viswanatha Sastry; her daughters, Rekha Laks, Radhika Desai and Renuka Vasthare; her sons-in-law, Duraiyappan Lakshminarayanan, Gopal Desai and Ashe Vasthare; and her grandchildren, Aparna Desai, Varun Lakshminarayanan, Akshay Desai, Natasha Vasthare, Nikhil Vasthare and Veena Laks.
