He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramson Lewis and Artis Lewis; and his siblings, John, James Lewis and Gracie Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Roxanne K. Lewis; his children, Louise Graham (Alfred), Shanon Armatrading, Brian Beckford, Brandon Beckford and Charles E. Dillard Jr. (Aciya); and his sisters, Willer Mae Dollard, Nita Wilson (Willie) and Jessi Lee Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
