She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert A. Thonie and Mae Thonie (Werts); her husband Walter C. Hoffman; and her siblings, William, Grover, Ralph Thonie and Jane Cherry Egan.
She is survived by: her close friend John "Jack" Willard; and her sibling's children, Thomas, Donald Cherry, David Thonie, Linda Taetzsch, Kathryn Carpenter and Kimberly Thonie.
