He is survived by: his wife Juana Mendez; and his children, Luz Espinosa (David), Francisca Gonzales (Marcelino), Jose, Alfonso Mendez, Rosa Gonzales (Refujio), Ramona Mendez, Christina Mendez (Ismael), Martina Ortega (Benjamin), Juan Mendez (Teresa), Delia Mendez, Esmeralda Palma (Sergio), Amalia Verdin (Hugo), Abraham Mendez (Christina) and Adriana Soto (Jose). He is also survived by 59 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kelley Funeral Home (125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Church (402 S Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ 08012).
