We announce the death of Barbara Ann Heritage (Pitman, New Jersey), who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 86. Barbara Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Furman H. Garwood and Marianna Garwood; and her husband W. Howard Heritage, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Heritage III (Penni), Sharon Tischner (late Edward) and Elli Mench (Gunner); her grandsons, W. Richard (Laura), Bryan and Erik (Kristin); and her siblings, John Garwood (Eva), Terry Garwood (Carol) and Doris Garwood Chew (Mervin). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's name to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter at 1200 N. Delsea Drive, Clayton, NJ 08312.
