We announce the death of Alberta Jane Mihalecz of Pittsgrove, New Jersey, born in Vineland, New Jersey, who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Sr. Battersby and Verna M. Battersby (Sharp); her husband John K. Mihalecz Sr.; her son John J. Mihalecz Jr.; her son-in-law Joseph A. Comparri Sr.; and her siblings, Anna Mae Hunt, Charlotte DiMatteo and Charles E. Battersby Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Karen J. Bell (William), Sandra M. Comparri and Michael C. Mihalecz Sr. (Sarah); her grandchildren, Erin Comparri, Joseph A. Comparri Jr. (Heather), Nicholas Stoner (Brittany), Michael Mihalecz Jr., Jessica Dinovi, Coleen Bell and Sommer Bell; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Harper, Hazel and Braden; and her sister Bertha of Montana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jane's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
