She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Franklin Craner and Alice Marion Craner (Chase); and her children-in-law, Vicki Lynn Dawson, Mike Lowe and John Neher.
She is survived by: her husband Rich Helms Jr.; her children, Brian Dawson (Tracy), Sherry Roach (Bobby), Ricky Dawson, Shanna Helms (Vinnie Wilson) and Kelly Lowe (Raul Fierro Vazquez); and her siblings, Richard Craner (Fay), Kevin Craner (Odette), Larry Craner, Donna Boyle (Michael Moore) and Patricia Pierce. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Diane's memory to the Salem County Humane Society, PO Box 214, Carneys Point, NJ 08069.
