He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel F. Parks, Jr. and Catherine Parks (Giberson); and his son Samuel F. Parks IV. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patsy" Ann Parks; his daughters, Robin Lynn Wolfe (Ernie Lee), Patricia Ann Parks and Sheila Mae Parks (Mike Taylor); his grandchildren, Laura Weidman (Tom), Amy Keen (Christopher), Justin Wolfe (Staci), Nathan Fox (MacKenzie Bechtel) and Kaitlyn Downer; and his great grandchildren, Tommy Jr., Jackson Weidman, Travis, Dylan Keen, Sarah, Clare, Mitchell Wolfe and Dawson Fox. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Adams Funeral Home (64 Broad St, Woodstown, NJ 08098). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Sam's memory to the Salem County Humane Society, PO Box 214, Carneys Point, NJ 08069.
