He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Wrede and Erika Wrede; his daughter Christine D. Tepke; and his former wife Virginia Wrede. He is survived by: his brother Harold F. Wrede (Martha) of Oldwick; his children, Kenneth H. Wrede (Lorraine) of Pittstown, Lauren Wrede Crowell-Nugent of Phillipsburg and Douglas M. Wrede (Michelle Gaffney) of Easton, Pennsylvania; his daughter-in-law Barbara Gulick (Dan) of Stewartsville; his grandchildren, Paige Tepke (Charlie Ross), Douglas J. Wrede (Katie), Jennifer Wrede, Nolan Tepke, Jason Wrede, Ashley Wrede and Noah Marsh; his nephew Paul Wrede (Cathy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Phillip and Charlie; his nephew Peter Wrede (Sheila); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew, Thomas and Heidi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hunterdon Land Trust, "protecting the places you love" and in keeping with Henry's ultimate love of land conservation.
