He is survived by: his children, George Byrd, Jr., Marlyin Franklin (William), Angie Gamble (Mack) and Sharronda Walker (Billy); his grandchildren, Tyisha Lundy, George Byrd III, Lance Byrd, Daniel Miller (Quiana), Javohn Byrd, Danielle Franklin, Daleketa Franklin, Derrell Franklin, Raheen Byrd, Darren Hester (Tanielle), Nadia Barnett (Tyran), Carlos Stevens, Ciara Stevens and Celeste Stevens; and his goddaughter Felicia Turner. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
