He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Lockley Jr. and Gloria Hunter; and his grandparents, James, Elizabeth Lockley Sr., Thomas and Ruth Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Alford, Mahsiah Waites, Akurah Murrell and Iza'jah Murkey; his grandchildren, Kamden Alford, Jordan Alford, A'mavi Murkey, A'mani Murkey, Azelliya McGill, Azuree Murrell, Aziyah Brown and Azeem Brown; his siblings, Matthew Hammond, Sally Tammie Jones (Peter) and Elizabeth Shakena Young (Brian); his niece Idalis Young; and his nephew Dylan Johnson (AZ). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the United Presbyterian Church of Plainfield (525 E Front St, Plainfield, NJ 07060).
