He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L. Lee; his children, James David Lee and Brenda Lee Jackson; his granddaughter Tia Jackson; his mother Eleanor Vivian Tucker; his siblings, Shirley Patterson, Anita Johnson and Viola Copper; and his brothers-in-law, James and Bill Farrior.
He is survived by: his children, Carl Joseph Lee (Traci Lee) of Plainfield, NJ, Crystal (Robert Walker) of Salem, NJ, Rhamon (La'Shea Trent) and Danny Collins Sr. (Keyjo Lee) of East Brunswick, NJ; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Douglas, Jacquea, Lissette Lee, Tierra Lee, Terrae, Jamar Charleston, James "Jimmy" Jackson, Tatyanna Ruiz, Danny Collins Jr., JaNiyah Trent, Devon Little and Rashawn Walker.
