We announce the death of Linda N. Petterway (Plainfield, New Jersey), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 66. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Linda will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Linda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Petterway and Agnes Petterway. She is survived by: her children, Keisha Blackwell (Ricardo), George A. Derby III (Tinicka) and Violet Darby; and her siblings, Abraham, Rowell Petterway and Brenda Petterway. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ruth Fellowship Ministries (733 S 2nd St, Plainfield, NJ 07060). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
