She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bass and Isabella Harris Bass. She is survived by: her husband Edward Carey Sr.; her children, Calvin Harris (Betty) of Haw River, NC, Brian Royster (Natalie) of Jersey City, NJ, Jesse Carey of Plainfield, NJ, Angela Royster Brown (Kevin) of Raleigh, NC, Nicole Royster (Trudy) of Far Rockaway, NY, Jasmin Bowen (Devin) of Allentown, PA, Alshanae (Ayanna Carey), Shaquella Carey of Plainfield, NJ and Renee Royster of Plainfield, NJ; and her sister Betty Jones of Edison, NJ. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends.
