He was predeceased by : his parents, Sumner Gamwell and Elizabeth Gamwell; and his brother David L. Gamwell. He is survived by : his wife Peggy; his children, Richard P. Gamwell (Cindy) and Susan Gamwell Saunders (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Taylor Gamwell, Kyle Gamwell (Justine) and Hope Elizabeth Gamwell (Stephen Muscarello).
