He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lakes (Ruth Shaw) and Pompton Lakes; and his son Robert Shaw, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne; his daughter Kathy MacKay (Robert); his grandchildren, Nathaniel Shaw, Bobby Shaw, III, Victoria Carola (Bobby) and Robert MacKay, Jr. (Kaitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Lukas and Georgia MacKay.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home (781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research or the American Cancer Society for liver cancer research would be greatly appreciated.
