With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Benedetta Cappello of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Benedetta left this world on March 10, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Francesco Cappello. She is survived by: her daughters, Lucy Killeen (James) and Antonella Cosentini (Joseph); her grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren Killeen, Sophia and Joseph Cosentini; her siblings, Salvatore DiMaggio (Rosa) and Lia Marullo; her nephew Ugo Autino; and her niece Maria Rosa Ricotta.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
