Brenda Lynn Vander Valk Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Brenda Lynn Vander Valk of Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Brenda passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Steven; her children, Joseph (Sherilyn) of Titusville, FL, Tyler (Lindsay) of Montville and Cory (Rachel) of Rockaway; her father Corneilus VanderStad; and her siblings, John VanderStad (Mary), Sue Rose (Alan), Ruth Tanis (William), Ada Den Hollander (Henry) and Lisa Sniegocki (Mike). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander May Funeral Home (567 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Reformed Congregation of New Jersey (123 Boonton Ave, Kinnelon, NJ 07405).
