It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora E. Koehler of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Niwinski and Anna Niwinski. She is survived by: her children, Brian and Dawn; her grandchildren, Samantha and Joshua; and her siblings, Michael Niwinski (Nancy) and Susan Niwinski.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home (781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dora's memory to American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Shriner's Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated by her family.
